Our Jin Xuan green tea is slightly oxidized at about 5%. It offers all the advantages of a green tea with the aroma and flavor profile of an oolong. Lightly oxidized, lightly baked, tea drink has a pale yellow-green color matching its faint fresh scent. Once infused, the tea presents itself with a fresh natural taste followed by a subtle smooth aftertaste.
Jin Xuan green tea is sweet and very fresh in flavors.
History
Jin Xuan is a special variety of Camellia Sinesis (tea plant) developed through research at the Taiwan Tea Agricultural Research center. This tea plant is known for producing Oolong with a unique spring floral fragrance and a pure milk undertone, which makes it exceptionally popular. We use raw of Jin Xuan Oolong tea to make green tea and it is called Jin Xuan Green tea. The loose balled leaves unfurl to yield a highly aromatic, smooth and mellow light-bodied infusion with sweet of pure milk and floral notes. The pure milk scent in this tea is a result of the tea variety, where it is grown, and how the leaves are processed - there are no flavors added to this tea.
